Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. He started his acting career by playing performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. After appearing in numerous films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans has also been featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. In the course of his Marvel film work, he was one of the highest paid actors in the world.
