MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop culture. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his first full-length album. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His younger brother and his mother are both musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. When he was young, he taught how to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Though his original career plan was becoming a veterinarian for animals His brother Julian advised him to begin learning to sing with a Cuban. This changed his entire life.
